GladSkin Review For Adult Acne

Since puberty really I have had spots. And I am not just talking about the odd one here and there i'm talking a full face of angry redness. When I think about Acne I think of really awful scars etc but when I took my 'before' pictures for this trial I realised bloody hell I really do have acne haha. Its pretty depressing, I cant even contemplate having a day where makeup isnt an option.
So when a trial came up from GladSkin - I couldnt refuse. They pride themselves on their acne gel which eats all the bad bacteria off your face - which leads to the angry spots. I also have dry skin in places (T section) where I over scrub. No amount of moisturizer heals this so I opted to try their Daily Care cream too!

This is how it came, with instructions too.
You apply the gel on your face 2-3 times a day ( I do it morning and night and extra in the day if I am having a bad skin day) and once that is dry (2-3 mins) you apply the cream over the top!
You wait for a few mins and then do your daily makeup/skin routine.

I have used these both for a few days and noticed my skin was actually getting slightly worse - though I dont know if that's because I am coming up to my period and thats when my skin gets the worse no matter what I do. However, I have read my own reviews on this product and a lot of them say that their skin went through a bad phase but then came out good. So I am persevering haha and hoping "it has to get worse before it gets better" rings true as it is my graduation coming up!!!

I have taken my 'before' pics (and very apprehensive about posting them as I have never noticed how ugly I am haha) and will take my 'after' pics once I have completed the trial.

UPDATED Hair Worx - Hair Growth Review

I think I may not be the only person in the world to have SUPER slow growing hair.. It has taken me approx 20 years to grow it half way down my back (3 inches past my boobs for reference) so I have been thinking about buying some hair/skin/nails style tablets. I brought some from Superdrug a few years ago and they were so huge!! probably the size of my little finger nail (I have long nails) I'm not too bad with swallowing tablets but they were unbearable and would stick down my throat so they would leave a horrible after taste. To be honest I didn't even notice much difference after the course anyway so I gave up hope. I had been thinking about taking some again as its my graduation coming up and wanted to look the best possible (my hair is awfully thin and I have slight adult acne). I was delighted to be kindly gifted these tablets by Hair Worx. I will be doing a 'before and after' post once I have finished the course of tablets as well so you can see the difference yourself :).

I have been taking them for a week now and I can honestly say I can see a tiny bit of difference. I'm not expecting miracles as my hair isn't great anyway but I am hoping just to finally be happy with what I look like. In addition to this, my skin has also calmed down too. I know the tablets aren't specifically for skin but as the tablets are a mixture of different vitamins etc vital for hair growth which also relates to clear skin and nail growth.
Here is where you can check them out on their website; http://www.tnhealth.co.uk/
and their Amazon link; Amazon

UPDATE

I have finally finished the course of this product! I have taken before and after photos to see if you can see the difference. I personally can - its not had a rapid growth as my hair isn't like that so it just wouldn't be possible. BUT I have noticed a change in growth as I have noticed I haven't needed a trim so often so therefore it's been getting longer because less has been taken off. Which leads me onto the saying the quality of my hair has changed, its gone from being quite coarse and dry to extremely shiny and manageable! The product is a mix of supplements to help promote healthy hair and as I am a vegetarian I dont get a lot of protein or iron (promoting strong hair) so this has really benefited me!

Between these photos I have had one hair trim (a month ago) and dyed my hair the night before!!

New Jewellery - The Body Jewellery Shop

Hi everyone! It has been a long time I know BUT I have finished University!!! woo! I handed all my work in yesterday so I now have a full life ahead of me doing something I am not so sure of yet haha! Just seeing where life takes me!
Though, I am glad I can invest some more time into the things I properly love like dress making, pattern cutting and of course blogging!! A new camera has been added to my birthday list already :D

Anyway - the point of this post was to tell you all about my new jewellery!! I am not normally a fan of earrings and only started wearing them again from my last birthday - August last year. A friend of mine had a gorgeous pair of tiny small glass style flatish crystal earrings which caught the light amazingly! I desperately wanted some afterwards as they could be worn with anything (which is what puts me off earrings normally as I am too lazy to change them all the time!!)
However - I asked for a pair of similar looking pair for my birthday and got a gorgeous pair but they were very big, not big enough to come off my earlobe but just heavy and obvious rather than dainty!
...So I was on the search again!!
I came across this gorgeous brand last week - The Body Jewellery Shop!

They offer lots and lots of different bars and earpiercing  for various parts of the body (but I am abit boring so only have my ears and bellybutton pierced haha) So I just focused on looking for what I was after!
I came across this gorgeous tiny pair of earrings in white/glass and dusky pink!
The measurements weren't stated on the website but they were clearly small!
I received them a few days ago and I am in love with them!!
They are perfect sizing to wear all day everyday with every outfit!
I also wore these for a few days before reviewing them now to see if I was fully comfortable with them and if anyone noticed! I am more than happy to say I've had a few direct compliments on them and a few of those 'you look really different but not sure why' compliments too haha!!
I also couldn't be bothered to take them out one night and thought as they are tiny they may be comfortable to sleep in too - a BONUS if so!
Bare in mind I am an icredibly light sleeper and it takes me ages to get to sleep but boy did I sleep that night!! Since then I actually havent taken them out once - through showers and sleep they have stayed firmly in place and will do for the foreseeable future haha!

The dusky pink ones are perfect for spicing up a girly romantic outfit!
