'Christmas Party' Season Pretty Little Thing Wish List

As Christmas is slowly (but quickly) creeping upon us I thought I would do a quick Christmas Party wishlist from Pretty Little Thing as you all seemed to love the last wish list I did from them! I still cant believe how many views it got in the first few hours! but thankyou!

ANYWAY -
1 -  This is a great top to dress up and dress down. Especially if your Christmas party is a meal out or something slightly more casual! I also love the recently popular trend of wearing a detailed triangle bra/lace bralet underneath to give a little bit of sexiness away if you dont want to actually get your boobs out/have none to get out even if you wanted too (like me) Buy it here - £15

2 - How gorgeous is this dress?! Perfect for the slightly more extravagant Christmas party. You can wear it again and again - black tie events etc and even a prom?! so elegant and affordable! Buy it here - £25

3 - glitter and sequins... what else best describes Christmas?! I love this for your Christmas night out with your girls etc. It could easily be worn again without looking too Christmassy but screams Christmas when worn in the right season! Buy it here - £30

4 - A slightly more 'demure' version of number 3. Subtler glitz and slightly longer but still gorgeous. Ability to wear again without Christmas - 10/10. Buy it here - £25

5 - I think this is my favourite one! The shape and silhouette is absolutely gorgeous. I love the colour, the neckline - everything! They have got this spot on with the design! Perfect to dress up and dress down depending non what night you have planned and super amazing if you have lumps, bumps and problem areas as it doesn't cling to everything you have! Buy it here - £25

Hope you've enjoyed this just as much as my previous wish list. Happy shopping and have a lovely Christmas Party!!!

5. Nominate 10 bloggers to do the award

After reading Lauren Morgan's blogpost, I have been nominated to do this Sisterhood of the world bloggers award!

1.  Whats your favourite lipstick?
My favourite lippy has got to be - GOSH in 154 - I dont usually wear lippy but when I do its normally on uni days etc so I tend to keep it neutral. This colour is a deep deep scarlet red. It's very halloween but still suitable all year round. It also makes your teeth look super white which is always a winner eep!!
2. Whats your favourite animal and are you an animal lover?
I am a MASSIVE animal lover! Only really house hold pets/farm animals etc rather than snakes and spiders but still love all animals and just cant understand when people put them into rescue centres/ or abandon them :(
I have two jack russell dogs, Jessie and Max. They are my lovely babies!!  We get Jessie from a rescue centre and she was awfully abused and I just cant bare to think about it when I look at her sad, lovely face! :(
                                       3. Whats your favourite style of sunglasses?
Sunglasses dont really suit me at all to be honest. I dont even wear them much on holiday but if I had to choose it would be the Ray Ban style!
4. If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?
If I could go anywhere in the world it would probably be back to Disney Land Florida. I went with my family and another close family when I was about 8. We are all 20+ now and we still always rave on about it whenever we are altogether - begging our parents to take us back!! Its just magical.
5. If you had to pick an actress/actor to play your life who would you pick to play you?
Not because I feel they represent me, my life, or my looks haha but if I take it in a way of who is my favourite actress it would have to be either Sarah Jessica Parker for the glamour, or Kate Hudson/Jennifer Garner for a romantic comedy haha!
6. Whats your favourite tv program
I watch a lot of TV, so I have a lot haha! But I love, Hollyoaks, Made in Chelsea, The only way is Essex, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Dont tell the bride and anything else thats abit of rubbish really!!
7. Favourite food?
My favourite food is anything with chips really haha! I am a extremely fussy eater! to my mums despair!
8. Whats your dream job?
I am currently studying Bridal wear at University, in my 2nd year! So anything to do with weddings really. I am obsessed with everything to do with them! Ideally I would love to own my own barn converted studio selling gorgeous boho wedding dresses. But thats probably a far away dream!
9. whats your  Favourite scent (perfume)?
I have a few faves. I love Christina Aguilera's first perfume with the lacy bottle. Nina Ricci's first perfume. Kate Moss' first and all of Vera Wang's.
10. Have you got any hidden talents?
I sadly have no hidden talents :( I am that girl who watches a Disney film about a girl who cant Ice skate then becomes amazing (Ive forgot what its called) and then I spend the next few hours looking at where  I can learn to figure skate etc haha! I used to do gymnastics which I did for 8 years. But Ive now lost all my flexibility!

I dont really have any blogging friends haha so nominate yourself if you're reading this :)
Dont forget to tag me!
Here are my questions;
1. What is your dream job?
2. What is your favourite all time song?
3.Whats your favourite film?
4. Who is your celeb crush?
5. What is your favourite 'go to' outfit and why?
6. What is your favourite memory of this year and why?
7. If you won the lottery what would you do with it?
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
9. If you had to have a career change what path would you go down? or Study
10. What do you hope to achieve in 2015?
:) have fun

Bridal collection on Architecture.

A

B

C

D
E

The next brief had the theme of Architecture. We had to pick a style of buildings or just one building to build a collection of 20 designs. I chose St. Pauls Cathedral in London, I choose this because of the gorgeous detailing, colour and the many steps, and because of Princess Diana's marriage to Prince Charles. Which I thought was very relevant considering I was doing a bridal collection.

A - Mesh draped across a sweetheart bodice with a tiered skirt inspired by the many steps outside.
B - A short low v - veck bodice. A exaggerated peplum over a wired cage. Inspired by the dome.
C - A strapless, boned tiered dress inspired by the steps.
D - This is my favourite. A strapless coloumn dress(inspired by the coloums!) with a wired cage around the waist to the knee, inspired by the dome.
E - A slight fishtail dress with a mesh shawl with embroidered coloured thread inspired by the colours and detailing on the roof.

My 'Enchanted' collection by Sophie Elizabeth

I know these aren't illustrations but I thought I'd share with you the collection I made in college - July 2012.
We were given an open brief for our FMP (Final Major Project)in our second year for our fashion show garments. Being as girly as I am, I chose Butterflies for my theme. I chose quite girly colours, and very light organza overlaying material with cotton underneath. I chose to do two short dresses with a small butterfly at the back with two flowing organza pieces for the butterflies wings. My main blue dress was a long dress with two wing shaped pieces at the back which attached to the finger and then could be lifted up. Inspired by Victoria's Secret wings.
I love prom/evening dresses so I based my theme around my own criteria. We start from the beginning going through each process.. choosing a theme, creating a sketchbook with tons of research, drawing up 20 designs, choosing 3, making our own dress patterns, toiling (mocking) them up in calico, sourcing our own fabrics and then, sewing them up for real.
We then look at the business side of a collection, and create our own statement supporting our collection, doing a photoshoot, creating our own swing tags and business cards and doing illustrations of our garments. This all comes together for our end of year exhibition, which is where we have our own space of a room and can bring in props and lights etc which is open to the public. After this is the end of year show, which is a fashion show showcasing BTEC year 1's work, BTEC year 2's collection, Foundation Degree year 1's work and Foundation DEgree year 2's collection. This is an amazing show, where we can pick our own music suitable to our collection and students also help model garments or help dress the models.
